Who We Are
Our mission is to serve veterans, which includes serving military and RCMP Members and their families, to promote remembrance, and to serve our communities and our country.
12 years ago today, Canada’s mission in Afghanistan came to an end. We pause to remember and honour all who served — and the 158 Canadian Armed Forces members who made the ultimate sacrifice.
For many who served, the impact of that mission did not end when the deployment did.
2026 marks the Legion’s Centenary year and we’ve created a beautiful, interactive website that chronicles the major events and achievements of the Legion over the past century. This site is a treasure trove of history – and a great reminder to us all of the Legions proud legacy.
