About Saskatchewan Command

The organization was formed in 1926 with Saskatchewan Command officially formed on February 17th, 1926 with the first Provincial Convention being held in Regina on February 17th and 18th, 1926.
Our organization is a non-profit, membership supported organization. The organization originally started out as a place of support, advocacy and camaraderie for returning military personnel to help with the transition from war time service to civilian life.
Since then the Legion has grown into one of the most respected and loved community service organizations in Canada. The Legion continues to serve veterans, ex-service personnel and their families as well as communities, hospitals, seniors and youth programs.
Saskatchewan Command of The Royal Canadian Legion has a Provincial membership of approximately 13,000 with 187 Legion Branches throughout the Province. Our Branches are proud to help our veterans and donate endless volunteer hours to this cause.
The Saskatchewan Command Provincial office is in Regina at 3079 – 5th Avenue, Regina Saskatchewan. S4T 0L6. Our phone number is 306-525-8739. We proudly boast the fact that our organization still uses “personal contact” to answer phone calls and queries in a friendly efficient manner.
Saskatchewan Command runs a number of programs for our youth and seniors as well as a vast sports program for our members. We offer scholarships and bursaries and our annual Track and Field program is celebrating 44 years in operation.
The Command also operates a service bureau assisting and handling the pension process for our Veterans and still serving members of the armed forces.
